Your Way

There is nothing in this world

Like You . . .

Your worth dying for

My life i give to You

Every hope i have i lay it at your throne
I will follow You

I won't do it on my own

I live, Your Way

I am, running forever with You

This day, is Your day

I am, giving my whole life

For You Lord . . .

I live for You

I am giving You my whole life

Giving You

I know the truth

I am letting go of my life

Letting go . . .

I love You . . .

Jesus . . .

Jesus . . .

Jesus . . .

Star Wars Breaks Records, Ties Religious Themes
Revenge of the Sith taps into spiritual guidance for young people

The final "Star Wars" movie hit theaters last weekend and broke box office records with 108.4 million dollars in North America -- the second largest box office haul in three days.

Biblical themes have been tied with Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith as many Christian leaders have commented. Greg Stier, CEO and founder of Dare 2 Share Ministries, paralleled the Jedis as angels and the Siths as demons who are engaged in a battle between ultimate good and ultimate evil. "The Jesus Jedis want to recruit you, restore you, remake you and then unleash you as a weapon of righteousness. The Satanic Sith want to sear your head off with their naughty light sabers of sin," he stated.

Turning the film into a Bible study lesson, Stier encouraged youths to take up their "light sabers (the Word of God) and engage" in a "real battle using the real Force (the Holy Spirit)" for the advancement of the Kingdom of God."

The whole story is the redemption of Darth Vader. He falls to temptation and is redeemed by the son in Episode VI," said Jeffrey Perkins, author of a Bible study that focuses on the original trilogy.Byron Barlowe, editor of Leadership U, drew a comparison between "Christian leadership" and "Jedi apprenticeship," saying that both are ways of modeling a person after an ideal.

He continued that the film "taps into the spiritual guidance that so many young people are looking for."

Now you & I know why Star Wars has been such a hit for yrs and yrs already . . .

I went to send Xiao Ting off to Israel with the JC POS peeps at the airport today. It's my first time sending pple off! Although i found myself a bit of a misfit hanging out with them, i must say that they are really fun loving pple whom are great to hang out with. =) I must have missed out a lot. But well, in life, we gain some and lose some, so... what to do. Haha. I'm so gonna join POS next year. But when will i get to go to Israel? Only my Daddy knows. =)

Later, I went to watch Mr & Mrs Smith with some dudes at JEC. Totally enjoyed their company. It is a great movie i must say. Witty plot, hot characters (read: Brad Pitt n Angelina Jolie) and not forgetting the action and the humour! I give it 3.5/5 popcorns! ;P If yr looking for something fresh, this is not the movie to be missed! ;) Muahaha... Married couples are highly encouraged to watch it together, lol.

    Till next time. Adios ;)

    * * * + You're Worth A Lot + * * *

In a brief conversation, a man asked a woman he was pursuing the question
"What kind of man are you looking for?"

She sat quietly for a moment before looking him in the eye and asking,
"Do you really want to know?"

    Reluctantly, he said
    "Yes."

    She began to expound...

"As a woman in this day and age, I am in a position to ask a man what he can do for me that I can't do for myself. I pay my own bills. I take care of my household without the help of any man...or woman for that matter. I am in the position to ask, "What can you bring to the table?"

The man looked at her. Clearly he thought that she was referring to money. She quickly corrected his thought and stated,

"I am not referring to money. I need something more. I need a man who is striving for perfection in every aspect of life."

He sat back in his chair, folded his arms, and asked her to explain. She said,

"I am looking for someone who is striving for perfection mentally because I need conversation and mental stimulation. I don't need a simple-minded man."

"I am looking for someone who is striving for perfection spiritually because I don't need to be unequally yoked...believers mixed with unbelievers is a recipe for disaster."

"I need a man who is striving for perfection financially because I don't need a financial burden."

"I am looking for someone who is sensitive enough to understand what I go through as a woman, but strong enough to keep me grounded."

"I am looking for someone who I can respect. In order to be submissive, I must respect him. I cannot be submissive to a man who isn't taking care of his business. I have no problem being submissive...he just has to be worthy."

"God made woman to be a help mate for man. I can't help a man if he can't help himself."

When she finished her spill, she looked at him. He sat there with a puzzled look on his face. He said,
    "You are asking a lot."

"She replied, "I'm worth a lot."
